Saab’s liquidity crisis is a short-term ‘blip’, according to sources close to the company. Chrysler Group's service, parts and customer-care brand Mopar will have its largest exhibit ever at the Detroit auto show Jan. 13–26. Measuring some 5,500 square feet, the exhibit will highlight the new Mopar Custom Shop in the Mopar Garage.

It’s a relatively quiet Geneva Motor Show for Jaguar with nothing really new to shout about, but there is one European debut, the new Jaguar XFR-S, and the nest instalment in the F-Type’s ongoing PR assault with a final trailer for the F-Type film by Ridley Scott. The Jaguar XF cobbled together to take a bit more of a fight to the new BMW M5 and Mercedes E63 AMG than the XFR can manage – the Jaguar XFR-S – gets its European debut at Geneva.
